Beth Adams Bongiovi's body arrived at John F. Kennedy airport today, Sunday, June 23rd.  She was believed to have been escorted by her husband, rockstar Jon Bon Jovi and step-daughter Stephanie Bongiovi.  

Sources close to the family tell us that he's deeply devastated and is reported as saying that he has no idea how he's going to get on with life.  We are also told here at MTV that Beth Bongiovi was approximately 16 weeks pregnant, which is shocking since the couple was in the middle of a divorce.  A divorce that would have been final in the next couple of months.  

The couple have two children together, Brianna and Jon Spencer.  Beth has 4 step children; Stephanie Bongiovi, Jesse Bongiovi, Jacob Bongiovi and Romeo Bongiovi.  Beth is survived by her mother, and brother, Dillon Adams.  She was just 47 years old.

Beth Bongiovi was killed in a car accident in which she was the driver of the car.  Over the last couple of days, it's become clear that the accident was no accident.  Evidence shows that there were no skid marks at the crash site, leading investigators to believe that she hit the rock wall on purpose, killing herself and her passenger, Brian Richardson.   This case continues to be under investigation.  We will bring details as they become available.

As some of you may remember, Brian Richardson was an ex fiancee of Beth Adams Bongiovi, whom faked his own death, only to pop up into her life later and try to destroy what she had built with Jon.  He was later linked to acts of atrocity towards Beth and the Bongiovi family with help from no other than Jon Bon Jovi's first wife, Dorothea Hurley Bongiovi.  Brian was sentenced to prison for the things that he masterminded and carried out, with the help of accomplices Dorothea Bongiovi, Dalton Patterson and Melissa Davis.  It's unclear at this point when Brian re-entred Beth's life, as she and Jon were separated at the time of her death.  

Jon and Beth suffered many losses and tragedies in their short life together.  They lost a daughter at the hand of a family friend, that turned out to be a family enemy.  The family friend/enemy was working in sync with Brian Richardson and Dalton Patterson, both trying to ruin the life that Beth had made with Jon.  Jealousy was the motive that drove them.  Court records show that Dalton Patterson targeted Beth because she ignored his advances when they worked together at the investment firm in which they met.  It's reported that Dalton and Beth dated for a short period of time after, when her and Jon were apart.  Dalton re-entered her life just to destroy it.  

In the time since Jon and Beth met, they lost a set of twins in while Beth was still pregnant, that drove a big wedge between the couple.  Sources tell us that Beth hadn't been the same since then.  They also struggled through a sexual assault, previous car accidents and injuries, many scandals and several separations.  

The couple met several years ago when Beth was a guest backstage at a concert.  They met and hit it off almost immediately even though the rocker was married with 4 children.  At first they kept their relationship a secret, but when they realized they were going to be together, they made their affair public.  The rock and roll community was shocked, as was the rock stars family and friends.  

Beth lead a successful life, professionally.  And often had a successful life, personally.  She was an entrepreneur in her own right, having started and operated several thriving businesses.  She owns an investment firm in New York City with some high profile clients, a vineyard in Napa Valley and one in Southern New Jersey. She also sat on the board of many community projects, funding a few on her own.  She was active in her community, but devoted all of her spare time to her children and step children.  Beth was an avid gardener, loved to do anything with her children outside, from skiing in Aspen to sunbathing in St. Bart's.   She loved to volunteer, taking her children to homeless shelters in the city, to teach them the importance of giving back.  She will be missed in all that she did, by all of those that she helped.

The family had a small remembrance ceremony at the vineyard in Napa Valley, before bringing her home to New Jersey to rest.  Those reported in attendance were Richie Sambora, Heather Locklear, David Bryan, Tico Torres, Hugh McDonald, Bobby Bandier, Southside Johnny, Alec John Such, John and Carol Bongiovi, Matt and Anthony Bongiovi, many of Beth's friends and several of the families friends.  Funeral services are planned for Thursday June 27th at the families funeral home in Raritan, NJ.  We are told that it will be an intimate, private ceremony.  She will be laid to rest in the family plot.

We have reached out to the Bongiovi family to try to get comment on the tragedy, but our requests have gone unanswered.

We here at MTV are truly sorry to the Bongiovi family for the unexpected loss that they are suffering.  Over the years, Beth has become a familiar face visiting the studio when Jon or the band would appear.  We will miss her.
